What the service provides
Managed Web Hosting is a shared Linux hosting environment. The plan supplies persistent website storage, PHP execution, one or more databases according to the selected plan, TLS certificates, scheduled tasks and the ability to serve several domain names. Email is activated as a related service when it is included in the order. You administer websites and their resources, while Silurian operates the underlying servers and network.
What it is designed for
Use this service for company sites, content-management systems, small online shops and PHP applications that fit the storage, database and traffic limits of the plan. It does not provide root access, arbitrary system packages or a dedicated operating system. Applications that need privileged processes, custom daemons or guaranteed isolated compute should use a VPS, cloud instance or dedicated server instead.

First year price versus renewal price
Your first-year price and your renewal price are always shown separately, and a one-time promotion, free certificate or included launch option is never used to make the renewal look cheaper than it will actually be. Your checkout, order confirmation, invoice and subscription record all keep the first-term and renewal amounts as two distinct figures, in your contract currency, so there is never a surprise at renewal time.
How activation works
After an order is approved, Silurian prepares the hosting plan and verifies the resources included in it. The hosting plan can become active before an attached domain, database or included email service has finished its own setup. Do not move live traffic until the website files, database connection, DNS records and TLS certificate have each been tested.
What you administer
You decide which domains the hosting serves, which folder belongs to each site, what files and applications are published, which databases and mailboxes exist, which PHP version the applications use and which scheduled tasks run. A single hosting plan may serve several unrelated domains within its plan limit; the domain mentioned on an order does not permanently bind the hosting to that name.
Building your site with Silurian Site Studio
Every Managed Web Hosting plan includes Site Studio for creating and publishing a small responsive website without a separate licence. A project can be written manually or generated from a business brief, remains editable before publication and can be restored to an earlier successful release. Publishing requires an attached domain, active TLS and a dedicated document root that does not contain another application.
Service and application responsibility
Silurian is responsible for the hosting platform, its availability and the capabilities included in the plan. You remain responsible for the website code and content, application updates, administrator accounts, passwords, DNS changes outside Silurian, and testing after a deployment or restore. Development, site migration and ongoing application maintenance are separate services unless the order explicitly includes them.
Backups and recovery
File snapshots and database backups are separate recovery sources. A complete application recovery normally needs a file version and a database version from the same point in time. Keep an independent export before major upgrades or imports, and perform at least one test restore before relying on a backup plan.
Pricing, tax and support scope
Listed prices are net of applicable tax, shown in your Silurian country's currency, with your first-year charge and renewal amount always itemised separately (including any applicable discount). Silurian handles hosting-platform incidents directly. Development, site migrations, content updates and ongoing application maintenance are separate services unless your order specifically includes them.
